GLORY LEAGUE POLICY
Purpose:
This policy outlines the appropriate uses and limitations of the Glory League platform within the Melbourne Basketball Association (MBA), ensuring clarity for all participants regarding its application.
Scope:
This policy applies to all players, coaches, officials, and spectators involved in MCBA basketball competitions utilising the Glory League system.
Policy Details

Individual Statistics
o Glory League will not be used to review or amend individual player statistics.

Game Results
o Disputes regarding game results may be submitted for review.
o Such disputes must be lodged within 24 hours of the game’s conclusion.
o Teams filing a dispute must specify the exact point in the footage where the discrepancy occurred within 24 hours of Glory League releasing the footage. General claims like “The score
was wrong” without specific timestamps will not be considered. If the Glory League footage is
not released at the time of filling out the form, the details will need to be sent to
info@melbournebasketball.com.au.

Official Judgement Decisions
o
Glory League footage will not be used to overturn or challenge the judgment decisions made by game officials.

Tribunal & Complaints/Grievances Proceedings
o
Footage from Glory League may be utilised during tribunal hearings, and to review any footage
relating to Complaints/Grievances.

Uniforms, Score Bench Staff, and Late Starts
o We will not use Glory League to review or impose penalties related to uniforms, score bench
personnel, or late game starts.

Player Eligibility for Finals
o Glory League may be employed to verify player eligibility for finals matches.

Breaches of By-Laws
o Any alleged breaches of by-laws may be investigated using Glory League footage.

Behaviour of Participants and Spectators
o The platform will be used to monitor and review the behaviour of both participants and
spectators to ensure compliance with MBA and Basketball Victoria’s Codes of Conduct.

Sharing of Footage on Social Media
MBA are committed to protecting the privacy and security of all individuals captured in Glory League footage.
Access to game videos is restricted to registered players, coaches, team staff, and club delegates associated with the specific games.
Reporting a Breach
Any breaches of this policy or concerns regarding misuse of Glory League should be reported promptly.
Review
This policy will be reviewed every two years to ensure it remains relevant and effective. Feedback from stakeholders is welcome and will be taken into consideration during the review process.
